BaSYS Overall concept
BaSYS Version 7.x
BaSYS is a server-based, modular network information system specialized in creating, administrating and updating network cadastres.
- BaSYS's graphical visualization (front-end) is platform independent. The CAD area is built upon the Autodesk industry standard (AutoCAD 2004 and later) and Bentley (Microstation from V8.x) and in the GIS area upon ESRI (ArcGIS from 9.x) and Intergraph (Geomedia Professional from V5.5x). BaSYS extends your existing GIS/CAD through excellent specialized applications covering many pipeline network sectors.
- BaSYS also provides flexible data retention (back-end) as regards to the database management system that can be attached. At present, connection is provided to software from the international market leaders, Microsoft (MS SQL Server starting from V2000) and Oracle (starting from V9i).
- BaSYS is designed in such a way that a respective task can be as effectively mapped for a service provider with small projects as well as for municipalities, computer centres and public utilities managing large-scale projects.
- BaSYS contains HydroCAD, the hydrodynamic sewer network computing model from the Dorsch Group.
- BaSYS contains Digikan, the Austrian sewer database system from Rabmer.
BaSYS is compatible with the current standards for both the Austrian and Swiss sewer databases.
- BaSYS is already localized for English, Portuguese and Romanian. Additional national languages can be realized at a reasonable calculable expense.
