Support Engineer (m/f/d) for CAD/GIS Software Solutions in Customer Service

  • At the company headquarters in Braunschweig

  • With flexible working hours of 40 hours per week full time

We develop software solutions for above-ground and underground infrastructure. Our large customer base consists of engineering offices, special purpose associations, municipal service providers and companies, public utilities as well as industrial companies and airports. If you are self-confident and enjoy presenting and negotiating, then we need you: a communicative and empathetic person to support our colorful team of engineers, geographers and computer scientists.

Your tasks

  • You will be responsible for receiving and recording all IT, program and engineering related customer inquiries.

  • You analyze the requests and work out practicable solutions.

  • In addition to following up on open inquiries, you’ll also be responsible for conducting user training and online seminars.

  • You are inquisitive and quickly acquire missing know-how.

  • The documentation of your solutions in our customer portals completes your tasks.

Your qualification

  • You are confident in using CAD programs and/or GIS systems. Ideally, you have become acquainted with a database management system (SQL Server/Oracle).

  • You have completed a degree in engineering or training as a technician or have comparable qualifications. Knowledge and experience in the field of urban water management as well as the handling of hydraulic calculation software and/or knowledge in supply/disposal engineering are an advantage.

  • You are communicative, have a talent for presentations and see your job as “service and performance” for the customer.

  • Thanks to your good analytical skills, you can structure tasks in a goal-oriented and independent manner. You develop creative and effective solutions.

  • Teamwork is a matter of course for you, you are flexible and committed.

  • You are confident in the German language and have a good command of written and spoken English. Further language skills are welcome.
