Technical customer service employee (m/f/d)

  • At the company headquarters in Braunschweig (Northern Germany)

  • With flexible working hours of 40 hours per week full time

  • To start as soon as possible

We develop software solutions for above- and underground infrastructure. Our large customer base consists of engineering offices, special purpose associations, municipal service providers and companies, municipal utilities as well as industrial companies and airports. If you are self-confident and enjoy presenting and negotiating, then we need you: A communicative and empathetic person to support our colorful team of engineers, geographers and computer scientists.

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for receiving and recording all IT and program-related customer inquiries.

  • You analyze the inquiries and develop practical solutions.

  • In addition to tracking open inquiries, you are also responsible for carrying out installations and commissioning of Barthauer products for our customers.

  • You are inquisitive and quickly acquire any missing know-how.

  • Documenting your solutions in our customer portals rounds off your tasks.

Your qualification

  • Completed training or further education in an IT-related area or a strong interest in IT. Ideally, you have gotten to know a database management system (SQL Server/Oracle).

  • Good technical understanding and confident use of computers.

  • You are communicative, enjoy customer contact and see your work as a “service” to the customer.

  • You are characterized by ingenuity in finding effective solutions for technical and analytical tasks.

  • Teamwork comes naturally to you; you contribute flexibly and with commitment.

  • You are confident in the German language and have good written and spoken English skills. Additional language skills are welcome.
