BaSYS Plan Interface for Revit – BIM-compliant 3D visualization of pipeline networks

With BaSYS Plan Interface for Revit, BARTHAUER provides another BIM module for graphical data processing in Autodesk Revit. The globally unique BARTHAUER multi-platform concept enables the use of task-specific GIS, CAD, and BIM applications required for the planning and management of infrastructure facilities.

Advantages of the BIM method

The BIM method improves efficiency and accuracy in the design of underground infrastructure assets through centralized digital data management. It enables better collaboration between all project stakeholders, as all relevant information is available in a common model. This reduces errors and realizes time and cost savings.

Specialized functional extension in Autodesk Revit

BaSYS Plan Interface for Revit expands the Revit functionality with additional specialized functions. The menu layout and consistent user interface facilitate an easy entry into the BIM world. Thanks to the specialized Revit components and scaling, the complex, type-based component creation process is eliminated.

Cross-sector 3D visualization

All network objects in the BaSYS database can be easily converted into BIM-compliant 3D objects. User-defined models generate project-specific “digital twins” at the required level of detail. The BaSYS Plan Interface for Revit already includes all templates for the wastewater, water, gas, cable, and pipeline sections. With the Revit IFC export, other project participants can easily and securely receive all relevant planning changes.

Generation of channel components

Based on manufacturer-specific component libraries, a wizard automatically provides a compilation of suitable components. The compilation results can be output as parts and order lists to incorporate all detailed costs into the execution planning.
