New member of the BARTHAUER management team – Dr. Florian Winter takes over sales management
Best possible customer solutions and direct targeting of target groups: this is the goal of Dr. Florian Winter, who will take over the Sales Manager at Barthauer Software GmbH from January 2022. With the PhD in civil engineering, the Braunschweig-based software company relies on sales experience from its own ranks. Dr. Florian Winter will focus on the intensification of existing customer business but also on the development of new target groups and business areas.
Braunschweig, January 25, 2021: The industry has been in a state of flux since before the Corona pandemic. Customer expectations and their targeted approach have changed. For BARTHAUER’s sales process, this means that customized offers must be developed from a sophisticated product portfolio with numerous expansion modules. This requires individual and personal support, with customer dialog increasingly taking place digitally.
“I have always valued personal customer support at BARTHAUER and will continue to do so. We want to get to know our customers in order to provide them with the best possible service,” says Dr. Florian Winter. “To further optimize our customer loyalty processes, we must also focus on the changing conditions between individual needs and increased digitalization.”
With Dr. Florian Winter, a long-standing employee from our own ranks is taking over the management of the sales department. After completing his studies, he initially gained professional experience as a specialist engineer at Dorsch International Consultants GmbH. After completing his doctorate, he was a specialist area manager responsible for urban drainage, flood protection, water management and water quantity management. In July 2016, he joined Barthauer Software GmbH and took over responsibility for the regions of Southern Germany and Switzerland as Account Manager.
“I am very much looking forward to my new challenge,” explains Winter. He succeeds Claudia Hickmann, who, after ten years of sales management, will channel all her energy into new tasks at her own request. “During my previous employment at BARTHAUER, I was able to personally convince myself of the company’s strengths and great potential over the past five years,” says Winter. “Especially under Claudia Hickmann’s leadership of the sales department, the focus on joint team performance and personal customer contact has been sharpened in recent years. This is what sets us apart and in this spirit we continue to offer holistic solutions and at the same time specialists for individual subject areas. It is important to me to be able to accompany our customers every step of the way.”
