Interactive planning
Water supply networks can be graphically developed and simultaneously saved in the database by using interactive and graphic planning in GIS and CAD software. The integration of survey and cadastral data forms the basis for optimal positioning and height recording. Specialized planning functions, like optimizing the elevation in the longitudinal section, can be used to create the basis for a hydraulic calculation. The calculation cores STANET or EPANET are available for a thorough hydraulic calculation to estimate the pressures and flow rates. Using a hydraulic replacement system is avoided by immediately converting the pertinent data and parameters into the hydraulic applications’ logic.
New data model and interface water supply GML
Centralized data storage avoids the need for time-consuming transformations in the water network and other fields of expertise. The intelligent and structured presentation of water supply data is built on the DVGW-compliant GAWANIS data model. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg), BARTHAUER created a novel interchange format for water supply networks that is software-independent and standards compliant. The Water SupplyGML interchange format enables the establishment of universal standards that may be used by all stakeholders in water supply networks. This improves interoperability, quality, and security across diverse systems and organizations.

GAWANIS – Compatibility
The GAWANIS – standard for gas and water networks is realized in AquaDATA as a subset. However, BaSYS sets new standards here with a considerably higher information content and level of detail.

In clearly arranged forms you manage all relevant data such as pipes, house connections, installation parts, fittings, molded parts.
Citizen – Information
Use AquaDATA in conjunction with GIS interfaces such as BaSYS-Visor, BaSYS Spectator or Synergis EASY / VIEW as an information station. Via the information station a fast and structured access to all relevant data is possible.

Document management
Manage the documents of your water supply network directly via its elements such as pipes and fittings. These can be, for example, detailed drawings, photos or maintenance forms.
Office – Connection
You can export data, e.g. query results for a house connection, directly to Word or Excel. This makes it possible to create serial letters.
